Friday, May 16th, 2008Drinking alcohol in moderation is good for our cardiovascular system, and virtually all knew that. But now the Japanese have also found that drinking in the company of people, in moderation, of course, is even healthier and provides more benefits to our body.
This study, conducted by Osaka University to drink less than 300 grams of alcohol a week in the company of people have health benefits for the heart and the prevention of stroke. In contrast, if we drink alone an amount exceeding 300 grams per week increased the risk of having a stroke. Alcohol in large doses, increases blood pressure in the arteries and blood liquefies.
The study of the Japanese seems to reflect that solitary drinkers have higher rates of sedentary lifestyle also higher rates of stress and unemployment. This situation negatively affects the brain and cardiovascular system by increasing the chances of heart attacks.
However, the study was conducted with 20,000 respondents, but all of them men.
